So many times we have driven by this pokey little doorway on South Street. Today we decided to pop in as we werent very busy.
I have discovered the tardis in Glasgow! Every single piece of furniture in this huge Aladdins cave is lovingly taken care of. So many gorgeous antique items of wonder hidden in every corner. We spent almost an hour in there and hardly scratched the surface!
In the middle of it all was this delightful man who is so obviously in love with every item he is surrounded by.
It makes me sad that people these days are obsessed with buying shiny new furniture from big companies as Ikea, which are cheaply made, overpriced and will never last as long as these treasures. Theres no need to increase the carbon footprint we are already annihilating when there are so many gorgeous items made with love and will guarantee to last a lifetime.
Work on Glasgow Queen Street tunnel has reached the half way point of the 20 week programme. This timelapse captures the first 10 weeks of work in just 4 minutes.
Mildly interesting if you like this sort of thing!
